How does Krav Maga differ from traditional martial arts, BJJ and MMA?
Traditional martial arts, BJJ and MMA arts provide many useful skills but they are not optimal for self-defense. These disciplines are trained in controlled environments with rules, weight classes and divisions based on personal skill level.
Krav Maga, by contrast, was designed specifically for real-world self-defense, assuming the worst-case scenario: your attacker is larger, faster, stronger, possibly armed, and not fighting alone. When you train in Krav Maga, you are not training for sport, but for survival.
